Who knew you could have fun in longhorn land!? Well we
DID!!! (for all my t-sip family out there, I
am kidding.) A few weekends ago, we went to Austin and met up with Martha and Eric, the Gardners, and the Capps for a Saturday fun day. We did an awesome
zipline tour through the Austin Hill Country led by the fun/crazy Robert AKA "
Hill Country Bob."
We then made the drive over to Zilker Park and rented canoes/kayaks to play on the water for a few hours. We had such a blast "playing" all afternoon with the group!
By the end of the day (which started at 8am and ended around 2pm) we were starved so we all headed over to Austin's famous
Kerbey Lane Cafe for some good eats. They seriously have the BEST queso and the bowl is about the size of Texas! DE-licious!!!

I guess there are a few good things about Austin after all. :)
